Random Thoughts on Hump Day
Is it wrong to say enough already to the upcoming election? I am really considering not voting this time for the first time since I turned 18. No candidate represents the middle. It is either four more years or Bush-istic policies or tax increases and massive government. *SIGH* I want to move to Guam — before the seas rise due to global warming.
I almost got hit by not one but TWO cars at the same intersection last night while I was on my run. A Bubba in a F650 King Cab, or whatever the hell it was, ran the light going at least 60 a full 3 seconds AFTER the light turned red. Then a guy in a POS Tauras thought red meant “go” and nearly clipped me while I was in the crosswalk. Smyrna police? Where the f*** were you last night? PEDS? Would you dare to step OTP to help pedestrians? Probably not. On a positive note, I like to run. It is very mind clearing. Plus it makes the legs look good — hubba hubba. Now if I can just address the area between my neck and waist — then all will be right with the world.
You know, I hate gas prices as much as the next guy but I am really sick of this political grandstanding going after “Big Oil profits”. A 10th-grade economics class would teach you the difference between profit and profit margin. Yes, the $123B of profits looks excessive but how much of that is actually in the pocket and not put back into taxes, R&D, employees, etc? I bet I could find an analysis that shows Big Oil’s profit margin has not changed much in a decade. (Price of gas in 1998 – $1.03/gal.) The fact is I am MORE concerned by the fact that food is 3-10 times more expensive than it was five years ago. Why have we decided to burn corn for fuel rather than eat it? And I am glad I did buy into this diesel car revolution from a few years ago. Have you seen how expensive that is now? I mean — damn.
Last night I learned that Sperm ran up a $400 cell phone bill on Shrek’s account. ROFLAMO! All’s I got to say is “DUH”!! And if you think I am giving you a bit more child support money to cover it, think again you ogre.

Yes, this whole BioDiesel thing has really worked out for the better. Lets see, Diesel fuel manufactured from oil which is a corn derivative and Ethanol made from the same all while we expect no shortage for our ultra processed food supplies. Genius!!
How do you even come close to $400 on a phone bill? That phone should be on fire from the amount of texting.

I luv it!! $400 cell phone bill. Now, what the hell is she going to do to get that paid? Voulez-vous?!! My daughter has yet to run up a $400 cell phone bill. And IF she does, that little chick will be out doing the voulez-vous thingee too – nah, not really. But, I will cut her off! How old is the Sperm? Isn’t he too young for a cell phone? I’m so sorry that you almost got hit twice, I know u r 2 sexy 4 ur shirt – well maybe ur shorts! PEDS to come outside the perimeter – wouldn’t that require a car?
