I’m off the market (again)!!!

The big news from over the weekend:  I am engaged!  Yes, that is right, I’ve decided to head in that direction again after a 6-year absence.  So, within a year or so, Missus, will become Mrs.  I think at this time in my life, it is a good choice.  We are two of a kind — both independent and opinionated — yet, loving and caring.  Both kids are happy too and that is vital.  I can see us being old together.

The actual event was something to remember.  After a wonderful meal at Ruth’s Chris stakehouse (oh my god!), I popped the question after dessert.  And after having a Niagara moment, she said yes.  It was a very nice evening topped off with this excitement.  She CLAIMS she had a small suspicion that it would happen, but I do not believe her.  She was just mad that I caught her off-guard.  (giggle)

Our formal day has not been set quite yet but we are aiming for early next year - perhaps April.  I’m sure I’ll keep you - my faithful readers - informed as the planning continues.
