Tuesday. Yawn.

Another Tuesday.  Remember a while back I said let’s just make Tuesday a holiday or something?  I am still supporting that.  Getting out of bed this morning was HORRIBLE!  I just could not get motivated.  (Actually, I am surprised I made it to work!)  Sadly, I made it.  And now I am unmotivated at work.  I could just as easily be unmotivated at home!  I think i need a vacation.  Or maybe just a sanity day.  Hmmmm.

Oh my.  The death toll from the China earthquake is up to 12,000.  My question is what happened to the cyclone victims?  It seems all of the news folks have forgotten about them.  But that is kinda typical, isn’t it?  Like a school of fish, they (the media) just move en masse from one story to another forgetting what happened yesterday or last week.  Kinda reminds me of this “global warming” (or whatever the term is this week) business.  It makes headlines only when something sensational happens.

Ah to be under 30 and idealistic.  I would love to hook up with these granola-eating, tree-huggers in 20 years after they have had a family and have a mortgage, etc etc and see just how much of the tree-hugging they still do.  They’ll be driving Hummers, with a 10,000 sq ft house with 4 air conditioners with a TV in every room.  Just like their messiah, Al Gore.  Or maybe they’ll all move to California — or Key West.
